FAQ
Born from a fall, engineered for your boots. Find out how the Giini Pyro eliminates the slip and changes the way you ride.
Standard stomp pads rely on friction, which often fails when snow or ice builds up on the mat. The Giini Pyro is a mechanical control device that uses spring-loaded rubber bumpers to actively grip the sidewalls of your boot. This "active tension" creates a locked-in feeling that standard pads can’t match, giving you superior control even in deep powder or icy conditions.
Yes. The Giini Pyro features a universal, spring-loaded design that automatically expands to fit any standard snowboard boot size—from youth (grom) sizes to large adult boots. Whether you ride Burton, Vans, ThirtyTwo, or any other brand, the flexible arms will contour to your boot for a secure hold.
Installation takes less than a minute. The Pyro uses an industrial-strength, weather-resistant adhesive backing designed specifically for cold, wet environments.
Step 1: Clean and dry your board’s top sheet thoroughly (use an alcohol wipe).
Step 2: Peel the backing and place the device in front of your rear binding.
Step 3: Press down firmly for 30 seconds to bond the adhesive.
Tip: For best results, install it at room temperature and let it cure for 24 hours before riding.
Absolutely. While it was "Born From A Fall" to help with lift exits, freestyle riders love the Pyro for one-footed tricks (like fast-plants and one-foot airs). The sidewall grip allows you to pull up on the board with your unstrapped foot, providing the leverage needed to manipulate the board without being clicked into the rear binding.
Yes. The device is symmetrical and works perfectly for both stances. You simply center it on your board between the bindings (slightly closer to the rear binding is standard). It provides the same level of grip and control regardless of which foot you lead with.
